Favorite Recipes of 2015

As they say, out with the old and in with the new!  It is time to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016. (Okay I can't seem to get the Adele "Hello" song out of my head - you too?)   I am ready for 2016. May it be a year filled with much happiness, fabulous health, much time with family and friends, divine food and wine and lots of laughs.

As I sit here reflecting on 2015, it was a year of change.  A lot of good but several sad days where I had to say goodbye to people I knew and loved. I am grateful for each day. I look forward to sharing more delicious posts and re-energizing my favorite series - Friday Night Bites.  I recently discovered a passion for creative cocktails and will post under the "Cocktail Hour" tag.  It is such a fun way to make a festive get together extra special.  I tend to name the cocktail to pull in a theme to my gathering. Watch for "Retail Therapy" to be posted soon.

I am creating my goals for 2016.  I use to have a long list and would accomplish quite a few, but several would linger into the next year. Sometimes they would get done and some would never.  This year I am making a top 10 goals list for both professional and personal.  I will be writing it down and hold myself accountable to the goals set forth.  Look forward to reflecting at the end of 2016.

2015 was filled with divine recipes and I wanted to highlight nine of my favorites from this year:

Mango Jicama Salsa
Almond Shortbread Cookies
Chorizo, Madjool Date and Apricot Bites
Salty Dog Palate Cleanser
Brie, Bacon and Fig Jam Tarts
Cast Iron Apple Pie
Pecan Cheddar Coins
Avocado, Bacon and Tomato Tartines
Parmesan, Cheddar and Thyme Gougeres

A BIG thank you to all of YOU - my loyal readers!  I appreciate you more than you know.  I wish you all the best in 2016.  May your wishes and dreams become reality! Cheers!!!
